Mentoring has been described as having ‘a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction’ (Crosby). CAPT consultants work alongside staff in organisations as an adviser and coach – transferring skills and expertise to help the mentee achieve the targets that they have set for themselves and their agency. CAPT’s mentoring has already helped staff in many agencies over the past four years through the government funded Making the Link project. This expertise is now available as a paid for service.
