An exciting opportunity has arisen for two people to join our senior management team. We are looking for a Head of Resources and Marketing and a Head of Consultancy Services. We're no longer receiving applications for these job roles..

The Head of Resources and Marketing  is part time, 28 hours per week, £44,360 pro rata for 80% FTE plus benefits and the Head of Consultancy Services is full time, 35 hours per week, up to £49,939 plus benefits).

The Child Accident Prevention Trust is a small but ambitious national charity. Our mission is to reduce the number of children and young people killed, disabled or seriously injured in preventable accidents – without wrapping them in cotton wool.

We provide an authoritative source of information, support and networking for organisations interested in child accident prevention. This includes information and publications for senior managers and frontline staff involved in public health and in providing services to children and families. We also engage with families direct, through our innovative educational campaigns and resources.

The following opportunities are currently available, based at our offices in Oval, London SW9.

Head of Consultancy Services

  • Location: London
  • Salary: up to £49,939 plus benefits
  • Hours: Full time, 35 hours

An opportunity has arisen to join our senior management team as Head of Consultancy Services. The person appointed to this role will be responsible for business development, operational management and delivery of traded services supporting CAPT’s stakeholders in government, local authorities, health and the voluntary sectors. We are looking for someone with significant experience and achievement in a similar management role.

You will have experience of leading strategic development, long-term planning and financial management, and of managing a multi-disciplinary team of staff and contractors working to secure and deliver contracts to provide a range of traded services.

You will have experience of leading business development in a relevant context, of project and programme management using a range of tools and approaches, and of managing and delivering expert management and technical consultancy and support.

An opportunity has arisen to join our senior management team as Head of Resources and Marketing. The person appointed to this role will be responsible for business development, operational management and delivery of CAPT’s publications, campaigns and marketing activities. The work will focus on increasing CAPT’s income from sales of child safety publications and on increasing CAPT’s engagement with stakeholder organisations, commissioners, practitioners and families.

We are looking for someone with significant experience and achievement in a similar management role. You will have experience of leading strategic development, long-term planning and financial management, and of managing a multi-disciplinary team of staff and contractors.

You will have a track record of success in development, marketing and sales of publications and resources, and experience of leading and managing successful stakeholder engagement campaigns. Your experience should include leading market research, development, marketing, sales and fulfilment of traded products.
