The charts can be used as a tool to talk through hazards with new parents and to leave with them as a reminder, and pinned up in clinics.  They are designed to help parents protect their growing baby, showing a grid correlating developmental stages from birth to pre-school with the most common causes of child accidents and appropriate advice.
