How you can help - individuals

Capt, like so many leading national charities, requires the support of many individuals to maintain and develop its crucial, valued and respected work throughout the United Kingdom.

There are many ways in which you can support our growing work and help us to reduce accidents to children and young people.

These are just a few:

Donations

• Cheques/Postal Orders - send to capt at 22-26 Farringdon Lane, London EC1R 3AJ.
• Credit and debit cards - please call Irene Mitchell on 020 7608 7368, or donate using your credit card through this secure link.
• Standing order - download the standing order donation form and make regular payments to capt, monthly, quarterly or annually.  Please send the completed form back to capt at 22-26 Farringdon Lane, London EC1R 3AJ.
• CAF vouchers - send to capt at 22-26 Farringdon Lane, London EC1R 3AJ.

By using GiftAid, you can make your donation worth almost a third more - at not extra cost to yourself.  As long as you are a UK taxpayer, we can benefit from this scheme.  If you are donating by cheque or postal order, please download and complete the GiftAid declaration form and return it to capt with your donation. (There is a GiftAid declaration on the standing order donation form.)

By text
You can donate to the Child Accident Prevention Trust by text, which is convenient for you and great for us because our partners LUUP will add up to 20% to your first donation.

Simply text CAPT followed by the amount you wish to donate and the code CSW to 81404.

For example, to donate £10, text CAPT 10 CSW to 81404 (you'll donate £10 and LUUP will add an extra £2); or to donate £25, text CAPT 25 CSW to 81404 (you'll donate £25 and LUUP will add an extra £5). (Please remember to insert a space after CAPT and after the amount.)

If you do not have a LUUP account, LUUP's call centre will call you back to register you for this free service. LUUP adds up to £5 to each first time donation from a new LUUP user. Terms and conditions apply. See www.luup.com for more information.

Payroll Giving
If your employer operates a staff payroll giving scheme please donate to capt, if you are not sure, ask your Human Resources department. If they don’t operate a scheme, and are interested in commencing a scheme, ask them to contact capt.

In memoriam
Many people prefer to donate to a favourite cause nowadays rather than send flowers to the funeral. Please consider capt.

Legacies

Share donations

Events

Marathons
If you, or someone you know, would like to run any of the UK or overseas marathons on behalf of capt please email or telephone Bill Giles on 020 7608 7363 for more information. CAPT does not provide places in any marathon events, but will provide 'goodie bags' for all participants.
